Gaming GuruBumping up Passline Bets24 March 2005
Dear J88: Different casinos have different rules, but what Brokopp wrote is correct at some casinos. Many casinos will allow you to go to $15 on the $6 Pass Line bet. On the 5 and 9, the $6 bet would not bump up the odds to $20 because you can get the correct payout on a $12 odds bet - the same holds true for the 4 and 10. Of course, it's best to make sure and ask the casinos you play in what they will allow. As I said, each casino is different. Your second question is hard to answer. I think the expense is simply for the booze and no added charges are put on paper. But I could be wrong as I am not a tax expert or accountant. All the best in and out of the casinos! A.P. play the slots but my husband and his friends are all blackjack
players. On a given night I bring about $300 to play 25-cent machines
and I play one coin in the type of machines that Frank recommends. ... (read more)

When you lose a bet, just double the bet the next time. If you lose that, just double again. Keep doubling and sooner or ... (read more)
